7 week old fostered kittens waiting on their dinner being prepared. They had been ill with cat flu and were just starting to get their appetite back. Because of their condition I had to chop their food finely and then add water and their medication to it. Once they were old enough and healthy enough the kittens were eventually re-homed in pairs to two loving families. They were never purposely starved for our entertainment – Cats can be very impatient and demanding!
Finally got around to installing my Stillen Gen3 Intake the other day and took some video in the process. Reports were that the intake was a real bear to install–that proved to be correct!!! The hard part was trying to get the pipes aligned to minimize any potential rubbing. It took a lot of fiddling, but I think I got it as good as it can be. The intake looks great in the engine bay, makes beautiful noise when you get on the throttle (but not too loud in-cabin), and makes impressive power at high RPM. Fitment could be better, but all in all, kudos Stillen! Install Notes: * Bumper cover removal – I did not remove it but to get the drivers end pipe in, some minor scratching to the middle of the pipe will occur. * Enlarging holes – a dremel would have worked (esp. multipurpose cutting drill bit or cutting wheel and flex extension) but I got a new tool recently, the Rockwell SoniCrafter which you may have seen on TV–made plunge cuts really really easy! * Filter bracket placement – final location (video segment was NOT final position) was 3rd hole from the top (and oriented with holes up)–one hole below the one shown in the video, with the bracket oriented up instead of down. * Filter shield – the center brace is somewhat in the way when attaching the shield to the passenger side filter as instructed. Undoubtedly, he was considered as one of the greatest Qawwals in the world. Khan had made a great impression on the music scene with his mix of Eastern poetic music with that of the West. The late, great Pakistani musician and singer’s first collaboration with producer / guitarist Michael Brook took the passionate, gymnastic tenor out of tradition… Recorded at Peter Gabriel’s expansive Real World Studios, the album combines ethnic percussion, programmed beats (some by Gabriel himself), Brook’s atmospheric and infinite guitar swells, and loop-based motifs with Khan’s complex, ornamented vocal delivery and devotional lyrics….Mustt, with its fiery vocal runs and funky, ethereal production, has become an important touchstone in the ethno-techno movement…. In the later years of his life he also worked with great AR Rehman and the fusion of these two gave music lovers a chance to listen beautiful music for years to come. He was due to perform with Madonna but life didn’t give him a chance. Khan departed from this sphere on the 16th of August 1997, and will be missed immensely by his fans all across the globe.

Though the album doesn’t come off with a clear intent, Space Is Only Noise makes for a really heady and beautiful listen. What makes this album attractive isn’t exactly obvious in the first few listens–mostly because it’s littered with so much experimentation–but the eventual growth is worth the wait time. Okay, so for now the prize consists of getting your comment feature in the next video, but the idea would be to have some actual cool prizes if this becomes popular. Listen to the sound clip and drop us a comment describing what you think is the source of the noises you can hear. Simple. In the previous video, the kids were playing with lego. On a hollow chipboard playing surface that served to amplify the sound quite nicely. There was a thin cotton blanket separating the lego from the wooden surface, that served to deaden the high frequencies somewhat, but I suspect that level of detail may not be possible to discern with the cheap camera mic. I will soon be acquiring a better quality microphone and dropping it into a parabolic dish reflector to target the sound effects much more accurately and precisely. I’ve uploaded the entire Ecco the Dolphin soundtrack for Sega CD. What a sublime experience and a beautiful soundtrack by Spencer Nilsen. It’s maybe a little less interesting melodically than the Mega Drive/Genesis versions, but I also hate the sound of the Genesis soundchip.
